Goodbye old friend, thank you for your service!

Our Parsonage sold Friday, July 23!

The parsonage was originally owned by the Methodist Church and operated by a Federated Church (Methodist and Congregational/UCC) from 1923 to 1998. When the Federated Church was dissolved in 1998, the parsonage was deeded to the WUCC by the Troy Conference of the Methodist Church.

For many years the parsonage served as home for our pastors, then as a rental providing income for the housing allowance of our pastors. Even several members of our congregation have fond memories of their time living at 55 Parsonage Lane!

Thank you to our Parsonage Team of Laura, Drew, and Vince. Thanks also to our Counsel, Beth, for making this happen, and to Amy, Moderator, and Karen, Clerk, who signed the papers on our behalf. And finally, thank you to the WUCC Facilities Team who cared for the parsonage throughout the years.

The Church Council will now work with the Trustees of the Church Funds to make sure the income from this sale works on the church's behalf well into the future.
