Church Usage
Welcome! Welcome, and thank you for your interest in using the building that houses the Waitsfield United Church of Christ. We consider our building one way we express our mission:
“Living, serving, and walking by faith for the benefit of the local and global community.”
Many in our community have given much to make sure our building is safe, pleasant, and open for your use.
The Waitsfield United Church of Christ & Village Meeting House has a ramp on the south side of the building, along with an elevator to the main floor. The bathrooms are gender-inclusive and handicapped accessible.
Anyone interested in a wedding, funeral or other service in the sanctuary at the Waitsfield United Church of Christ, please start by contacting us to discuss your date, time & needs.
Weddings
Pastor Mark delights in helping couples prepare for this joyous occasion.
Although we welcome you to have the wedding ceremony in our sanctuary, we have chosen not to hold wedding receptions in the fellowship hall. We encourage you to explore our beautiful Valley and its natural beauty, including our local businesses, cultural and community resources, for your wedding reception venue.
Funerals
We provide support to all members of our community during this sensitive and complex time.
Our sanctuary is available for the funeral service. The fellowship hall is available for a reception following the service.
Currently, our musician is not available for wedding services. You may use other clergy or musicians for your wedding or funeral.
