WUCC Kids
Our service to kids is one of our favorite and most important ministries at the Waitsfield Church.
SundaYS IN THE SANCTUARY
We fully extend our extravagant welcome to children into our worship service. By removing a number of pews at the back of the sanctuary, we created a space for the littlest among us.
Kids of all ages are welcome to lounge on the rug, read, draw, or work on a puzzle. The kids' worship bags are hanging there, too, for anyone who wants to grab their bag and sit in a pew (or go back and forth!).
But won't it be NOISY? Yep, maybe. But our hope is that our children will have a sense that they are embraced, from birth, as beloved members of the church, just as (noisy as) they are.
While we do not offer childcare downstairs during worship service, the playroom (or "cry room", depending on your needs) remains stocked with toys, books, and comfy couches, and is available for anyone needing a break.
We ask that children be accompanied by a parent/caregiver in this space, where you can also tune into the service upstairs using the speaker.
Serve with Kids
Everyone in the church has a role to play in teaching our next generation. Several times a year, we organize Sunday is funday activities for the children. If you would like to volunteer to serve our families or support our youth group, call the church office at 802-496-3065 or contact us.
