Our Big Neighborhood is inspired by Jesus’ command to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ (Mark 12: 30-31)

In this free week-long VBS, we will explore five countries in Our Big Neighborhood. With crafts, storybook readings, nature walks, tie dye, snacks and games, we will be invited to deepen our understanding and appreciation of different customs and world views. As we learn about these places and cultures, we will echo the truth that God has a deep love for each person in the world and we will deepen our appreciation for the diversity and beauty of Our Big Neighborhood.
