As part of our Lenten focus, we will be screening films on death & dying each Thursday at 12:30 p.m. during Lent. Come to the church a little early with a brown bag lunch and stay a little after for some discussion, if the Spirit moves.

March 3 - Get Low. This hidden gem of a film stars Robert Duvall, Sissy Spacek, and Bill Murray. A hermit (Duvall) with a secret past prepares for his own death, even to the point of planning his own funeral, but, before he does, he needs to come clean. There's a scaffold, a confession, forgiveness, and, in the end, redemption. And not just for him. Sound familiar? I hope so. 1:43 run time. Rated PG-13.
