Holy Week Services

Due to Saturday's weather forecast, we are cancelling the Easter Vigil and the Easter Sunrise Service. We hope to see you at the 10AM Sunday Easter Service!

Sunday, April 10 - Palm Sunday. 10:00 a.m. We will celebrate Jesus's triumphal entry into Jerusalem, and wave our palms, rejoicing!  

Thursday, April 14 - Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service. 5:30 p.m. This service will be held here, at the Waitsfield Church, with our Christian siblings from Warren. As we are reading from John's Gospel this year, and John does not have a 'Last Supper,' but does have Jesus washing the feet of the disciples, we will include a (voluntary) time of footwashing during this service. 

Friday, April 15 - Good Friday. The church will be open from Noon to 3:00 p.m., the hours that Jesus hung on the cross, for private prayers and devotions. 

Saturday, April 16/Sunday, April 17 - The Great Vigil of Easter. We will again be lighting a sacred fire Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m., and tending it straight through until our Easter Sunrise Service April 17 at 6:00 a.m. 

Sunday, April 17 - Easter Sunrise Service.  6:00 a.m. Our new, annual "Preach from the Leach" Easter Sunrise Service, direct from the field behind the church. 

Sunday April 17 - Easter Celebration Worship Service at 10.
