With all the natural disasters of hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, etc, CWS is in need of hygiene kits.  In 2020, they sent out 101,472 kits and blankets.  

Please consider making up a kit to support those who need our help.  After the flood here in 2011, we ourselves were the recipient of clean-up kits and they were sincerely appreciated.

CWS Hygiene Kit Supplies needed: 

One hand towel measuring approximately 15”x 28” to 16”x 32” (no fingertip, bath, dish towel or micro-fiber) 
One washcloth 
One wide-tooth comb removed from the package 
One finger nail or toe nail clipper removed from the package 
One bath size bar of soap in the wrapper 
One toothbrush in the package 
Ten standard size Band-aids

All items need to fit inside a one-gallon plastic zipper closure bag. 
Please do not add any extra items or toothpaste. A tube of extended expiration date toothpaste will be added to each Hygiene Kit just prior to its journey.

If you choose to make a financial donation, it can go towards the purchase of kit items or towards the processing fees of $2 per kit.

If an item is difficult to find, such as the comb, you can omit it and the item will be purchased for you and added to your kit.  

We will have a "drive-by collection" at the church on May 2nd from 11:15 to 12:15.   If you can't get there on 5/2, let Diane know so other arrangements can be made.
