This Sunday we begin Year 3 of the Narrative Lectionary, or NL.
The Narrative Lectionary was developed in 2010 at Luther Seminary by folks in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. From September to Advent, the NL gives us the arc of the story of the people of Israel.
At Advent - the four Sundays prior to Christmas - the readings switch to the Gospel for the year. This year the Gospel of Luke is the focus. After Easter, readings from Acts or one of Paul's Letters are used, and then after Pentecost we have room to study other texts or topics.
Online Worship Service will continue Sunday mornings on Zoom, YouTube, or MRVTV, but the focus will shift to those in the sanctuary.
