As a continuation of our work around racism, we are going to examine our own ‘white privilege’, the unearned benefits we receive just because of the white color of our skin.
We will begin with a community read of Sociologist Robin DiAngelo's book, "White Fragility: Why It's So Hard For White People To Talk About Racism." Covering roughly 50 pages per week, we will meet after worship July 3, and Saturday July 9 (not worshipping Sunday due to the Mad Marathon) to discuss our reading.
This will be a hybrid class, so you may join from the comfort (and safety) of your own space.
