Racial Justice: Safe Places for Difficult Conversations

Home > Congregation's Blog > Racial Justice: Safe Places for Difficult Conversations

Many members of our community have expressed a desire to learn more about systemic racism, and to investigate ways to become part of the solution. In February, we brought in three young leaders from the Peace and Justice Center in Burlington to facilitate an initial discussion. While they helped to open this important conversation, many of those who attended expressed a desire for further understanding, with time to delve into the issues more thoughtfully.

On June 17th and 24th, we will be offering just such an opportunity, guided by Wrenn Compere and hosted by the Village Meeting House. We invite you to join us in unpacking a social concern that touches each and every one of us. We will meet from 6:30 until 8:00 pm. Everyone is welcome
