End of Sabbatical

I cannot begin to tell you how much I have appreciated this time on Sabbatical. For most of my life I have been a very physically active person. In the last few years I seemed to have let that go by the wayside. Over the last two months I have concentrated on being physically active again. I have been biking, hiking, swimming, learning how to sail, and slowly getting back on my feet running. I have gone to lovely places and met interesting people. I have spent time in prayer and meditation and had deep theological conversations. All of this has made it possible for me to get back in the rhythm of an embodied spiritual practice and I am excited to come home and share my stories with you.

I look forward to worshiping with you on Sunday and renewing our life together as the beloved community. I have missed you and I rejoice knowing we will be together soon! I have attached a picture of the Maine coast which was what I recently came to after a five mile hike. God is beauty.

Love & Prayers,
